According to the latest information from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), motorcyclists are 28X more likely to pass away after a crash per mile traveled than those traveling in a car. 93% of crash victims were male, and a majority were between the ages of 21 and 39. 89% of motorcyclists involved in these accidents were confirmed to be wearing a helmet.
